Uhh...it probably does. Pentium II - L2 Cache + Slot 1 architecture - 100 MHz bus = Celeron. The Celeron is the worst chip I've ever seen. Fortunately, it died a quick death. BTW, Helix, you may find the following an interesting fact. The Rev1 Celeron (which you have) had no L2 cache. It did have a 32k L1 cache. The Mac IIci, released way back in like '89, had a 68030 chip with I believe either a 16K or 32K L1 cache, BUT, it had a slot for up to 128K of L2 cache (unfathomable, in those days). The 68030 ran at 25 MHz, BTW. So, the gentleman's claim that his 20 MHz could beat your 300 probably isn't off by too much (128K of L2 cache in a 25 MHz machine is like a 32 MB cache in a 300 MHz machine)
